Team USA pulled out a bronze medal in women’s 3×3 basketball, defeating Canada 16-13 in the final matchup. That came following a heartbreaking 18-16 overtime loss against Spain in the semifinals. Spain went on to win silver and Germany took home gold. Team USA, made up of Dearica Hamby, Cierra Burdick, Hailey van Lith, Rhyne Howard, entered the tournament as defending champions, having won gold at the 2020 Tokyo Games.
